- Designed all customer-facing Capacity Reservations APIs, including create, update, cancel, get, list, tagging, and workgroup-assignment flows, backed by DynamoDB persistence models for reservations, customer/account metadata, target vs. active DPU state, and lifecycle transitions.
- Built Step Functions-based workflow orchestration for ~5K reservation workflows/month, using DynamoDB transactions and request-derived idempotency keys to coordinate multi-table updates, retries, failure handling, and cancellation lock-in semantics.
- Led QueryExecutor FullCD migration across AWS regions, adding safety guardrails, automated tests, rollback mechanisms, and staged bake-time strategy; reduced rollout time from 9 days to 2 days, cut pipeline Sev2s by ~67%, and eliminated a 10-engineer deploy on-call rotation.
- Built operational tooling for Sev2/on-call investigations, including team-standard dashboards for availability, latency, customer usage, and workflow failures, plus an LLM-assisted RCA tool that reduced typical query-failure investigation time from ~10 hours to ~30 minutes.
